Principal Civil Engineer- Rail Bristol £55-65k per annum Permanent “My client is an award winning multi-disciplinary solutions business with extensive engineering capabilities and specialist expertise in transportation and energy industries. They are looking for an experience Chartered Principal Civil Engineer to join an existing team in Bristol. The role The successful candidate will be a Chartered Engineer and have extensive experience on Line Side Civils. Responsibilities will include: Focusing on some of the UKs largest projects as the Lead Chartered Engineer. Application of safety standards, CDM regulations and in the application and teaching of civil engineering design principles and standards The role will also involve monitoring and devolving junior CAD staff. Be client facing and able to act as a Line manager to monitor and mentor junior members of staff. Experience required: Professionally qualified Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and Ability in the application of safety standards, CDM regulations and in the application and teaching of civil engineering design principles and standards. Ability in the application and teaching of construction principles and standardsincluding experience of project delivery in construction related markets. Experienced at working with contractors in a design and build environment. Experienced within the rail sector and ability in the use of Network Rail procedures and standards.
