Marine Quantity Surveying Summer Placement
Overview
During this undergraduate placement, you’ll have the opportunity to be actively involved in all stages of our work and will experience working with different teams on site. We offer a unique learning ground for graduates to help us bring our projects to life. Based at Devonport, Plymouth, we offer a 12-week Quantity Surveying summer placement. You will be ready to take on challenges and be given the chance to experience our dynamic commercial business unit. You can expect to get involved in most aspects of a project’s lifecycle associated with the functions of a Quantity Surveyor with a diverse range of projects across our business (£10k to £100m). We will teach you the required commercial and contract management skills needed to perform all tasks. What you'll get out of it To ensure you get the most out of the experience, you will be assigned a buddy, mentor and manager. You will also have regular performance reviews and attend sessions to help you develop key skills. There will be plenty of opportunity to visit our other sites and meet placement students from across the Devonport site. During your time with us, you will meet a range of people, from graduates to directors, who will share their experiences and expand your industry knowledge. If you have a successful summer with us, you will be fast-tracked through the graduate assessment process.
