Overview
ProTalent are currently working with an extremely forward thinking and progressive accountancy firm in Brighton to recruit a Qualified ACA or ACCA Practice Accountant to join their expanding team. The firm: • Well established and well known Brighton firm • Outstanding reputation in the market place • An impressive and varied client base • Fantastic company culture and working environment • Solid team of experts with specialist knowledge The Role: • Working within the growing and expanding Business Services department • Working with a wide range of clients from start up to growing tech and digital clients • Some preparation of financial statements, corporation tax returns and self assessment tax returns • Reviewing the accounting and tax work of team members and supporting their development • Meeting & communicating with clients • Attending monthly managers meetings and participating in management initiatives • Taking responsibility for raising invoices to clients, preparing fixed fee agreements and meeting monthly billing and recovery targets • Assisting clients with claims for R&D tax credits and Video Games Tax Relief • Providing support on a range of financial matters such as the preparation of profit and loss forecast and mortgage references • Taking an active part in the firms business development and marketing activities The Candidate: • Will need to show that they are highly motivated and demonstrate high professional standards • Be able to show initiative and have a strong work ethic • Excellent IT skills • Will have the ability to communicate on all levels with clients and team members alike This is a great opportunity to join a firm that are well known for looking after their employees and provide ongoing training and development designed to help their team maintain and develop their skills.
