Overview
Are you a newly qualified accountant who would like the opportunity to progress to a portfolio manager? A well respected accountancy practice in east Bristol is looking for a recently qualified accountant to join their friendly team. This is a varied accounts role where you’ll also be involved with helping trainees as well as reviewing work. For the right person there is the opportunity to become a portfolio manager. You’ll be client facing, with a varied client base - quite a few of which are in the construction industry. The role will also require about 6-7 weeks a year audit work, all for local clients though so you won’t be staying away. Therefore you’ll need to have some experience with audit. You’ll be working as part of a team of 10 others within the wider business. There is a real team mentality, where everyone helps each other out, so you must be a good team player. Salary will be up to £36,000 with the usual benefits including 28 days holiday (including bank holidays). Please apply below and we'll be in contact with those with relevant experience.
