Overview
Great role for a qualified accountant looking for an interesting commerical finance role. We are looking for someone with experience in management accounts and some experience in team management . Candidate Profile · Qualified Accountant - ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA · Previous management experience · Strong excel skills (pivot tables, v-Look ups minimum) · Flexible & diplomatic in approach · Excellent communication skills · The ability to interact with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business, on a variety of both financial and non-financial matters. The Role · Line Manager for 3 Analysts · Overview of monthly management accounts · Production of weekly trading pack · Production of budgets, forecasts and latest views - accuracy is key due to the impact on cash forecasting · Production and analysis of P&L’s · Production and analysis of E-commerce P&L · Monthly review meetings with budget holders · Quarterly review meetings with Regional Managers · Capex accounting and forecasting · Production of monthly P&L Packs · Interpretation of all financial/management information and make recommendations to senior management · Provide financial management information to senior management in respect of strategic and operational decisions · Challenge and support the commercial management team on matters that have a financial implication - short and long term · Ad-hoc trading analysis of promotions / offers.
