Proposals / Tendering Coordinator

RMS - Resource Management Solutions are currently recruiting a Proposals Co-ordinator to work in our clients offices based in Darlington. A permanent position, this is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious company who offer services around the world. Working Hours are: FT hours - Monday-Friday Role Overview : The Proposals Coordinator will be a new addition to the Commercial Team based in the Darlington office. Working under the direction of the Commercial Manager, you will be required to assist in the timely submission of tender documents to customers and to administer the sub-contracts function. Day to Day duties will include, but are not limited to: Participate in the preparation of winning tenders Preparation of proposal Estimates and provision of subcontract quotations for tender Support to the Project Teams and Procurement in the preparation of RFQ's Best value sourcing of subcontract services Assist contract holders and sponsors with contract management responsibilities Assist in the provision of effective Supply Chain management - build strong relationships with key suppliers and create frame agreements going forward Monitor subcontract performance including organising performance review meetings as required Monitor subcontract spend against approved contract values Ensue subcontractor compliance with contractual deliverables and obligations Liaise with Legal Department within Commercial to agree qualifications to standard project terms and conditions. General business development activities To be considered this position you must: Previous experience of working in a Bid / Tender / Proposals position Strong understanding of RFQ's The ability to work to tight deadlines Enthusiastic and proactive approach to problem solving Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills The ability to present information at all levels Can work on own initiative Desirable: Ideally, degree educated or suitably experienced in the Offshore Renewables, Oil & Gas or marine industry For more information, please contact: / RMS is an equal opportunities employer and recruits and promotes employees on the basis of suitability for the job.
