Overview
Our client, a leading insurance business, currently requires a Claims Handler to join their team in Colchester dealing with Commercial Property claims. You will be responsible for managing effectively a caseload of claims ensuring delivery of an effective and proactive service when negotiating, focussing on claims resolution to optimise settlement times. You will refer claims which fall outside of your personal authority levels and ensure you gather and process information to support the effective assessment of more complex cases. Candidates need to come from an Insurer / TPA environment with experience of handling commercial property or liability claims. You will be able to correctly interpret policy cover and have excellent customer communication and service skills.
