Overview
Financial Reporting Manager We are recruiting for a new role for a qualified professional to join a rapidly expanding fund and corporate services business in Fareham. Reporting to the Director the Financial Reporting Manager is an interesting and challenging role responsible for a varied portfolio of fund structures and offers great scope for career development and progression. Key responsibilities: Act as the lead accountant for various fund structures within a team Review the bookkeeping for a range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures Review all aspects of accounting matters for a limited portfolio of fund structures incorporating investor reports, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc investor queries Attend client board meetings and present quarterly financial information Manage and review the completion of audit queries Review the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns, and liaise with foreign tax advisors Supervise and assist in the training and development of staff Candidates: Candidates will be fully qualified (ACCA or ACA) with experience of managing a small team and of accounting responsibility for a client relationship. This role would suit a candidate making a move from professional practice into a commercial business that offers managerial experience and is seeking their next step. Candidates should have strong systems skills and strong financial reporting skills.
