Job Title: Production Operatives Salary: £8.72 per hour Location: Outskirts of Hassocks (rural location) Duration: Temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent Hours: 9am - 5pm We are delighted to be working alongside our well-established client who are currently seeking Production Operatives to join their growing team. This is a pivotal role working in a company specialising in the production and distribution of beauty and wellbeing products. The purpose of the role is to support and integrate with the existing production team in a variety of tasks, which together ensure the smooth and efficient operation. A typical day in this position could see you supporting the produce of products using a variety of machinery including liquid preparation, filling, bottling and sealing products. There will be lots of training with the intention of developing your role to become proficient in all areas of the production process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production experience in a cleanroom environment to join a wonderful, medium size company who look to nurture and develop their staff by providing a warm and encouraging culture of self-improvement and development. The role: Making up cartons and boxes for packaging of the individual products Assisting in the cleanroom production area to support: Cleaning and handling of products and equipment Locating correct products to be used in production area Loading of labelling machines, progressing onto calibration of these machines Unloading from labelling machines of finished products and storing appropriately Assisting with filling and capping machines, progressing onto full operation Conduct a level of quality control at all times - reporting any issues immediately The Person: Friendly, enthusiastic and personable A team player and very adaptable Good dexterity with a steady hand Wiling to learn at a steady pace and progress with time to ensure ultimate accuracy A good eye for detail Access to your own vehicle due to location Previous experience: Ideally experience in a busy production or warehouse environment Experience in a cleanroom environment wold be very beneficial Travail Employment Group is operating as an Employment Business.
