Overview
THE COMPANY: We are working with a high growth manufacturing company based in South Leeds to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. With a great working culture and environment, you will be encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. You will be reporting to a supportive and engaging Financial Controller. THE JOB: This role is suited to an AAT Qualified or active AAT studier who is looking for their next challenge you will be responsible for the following varied duties: Updating and maintaining cash books Posting month end journals and accruals Sales ledger - raising invoices, allocating receipts and performing credit control duties Credit control Year-end support Stock reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations Supporting other tasks in the Finance team as required THE PERSON: The successful candidate will: Be AAT Qualified or actively studying towards their AAT Looking to progress onto CIMA or ACCA Solid experience within an Assistant Accountant role First class communication skills Confident in a fast paced role THE BENEFITS: Salary range is £23,000 - £26,000 study support Bonus On-site parking Life insurance Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the Midlands.
