Overview
The purpose of this role is to provide front line and practical graduate job application support to Undergraduate students. You will also collaborate with key colleagues to create online social media and career information objects for use with students. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Work flexibly to support job application support needs. This will involve providing information and advice on job search techniques and materials such as CV's, application forms, interview skills in 1-1 appointments and with small groups. Keep accurate records and statistical information linked to the outcomes of the candidates you support. You will work to build up a specialist understanding of a job search trends and themes including future-forward and emerging recruitment trends and practices, using social media for job searching and self-promotion, the use of speculative applications and networking, new working trends and patterns, assessment centres, gamification and video interviewing, creative CVs, and technical CVs. You will support Graduate Recruitment Consultants to produce high quality labour market intelligence You will support online content generation by contributing to one of more of the following activities: blog writing, social media portal ownership, or creating marketing and career information materials for our customer relationship management software. Person Specification: Working towards a degree or equivalent Experience of recruitment and/or supporting clients, 1-1 and in groups, to build practical job search skills to achieve positive outcomes. Experience of using social media The ability to research and share knowledge linked to job application techniques and trends.
