Overview

My client is a charity local to the Sutton area and they are looking to recruit a Coordinator on a 6 or 12 month contract to run and manage an annual event of theirs. This is a really fun, exciting and busy role. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES To support the Fundraising Initiatives Manager in delivering a web based event and in achieving financial targets and KPI’s. To co-ordinate online registrations To be responsible for distribution promotional materials, liaising with the marketing and communications teams, as well as external suppliers as required. Be responsible for validation and uploading of daily leader boards following internal processes, and then analysing information to identify anomalies, trends, and share these with internal and external stakeholders as required. Responsible for analysing all data; participants, teams, Departments, and Leader Boards, identifying anomalies, trends, issues and reporting up as required. Liaise with Digital Agency as required. Liaise effectively with all in-house Departments and Field & Engagement Teams. Ensure continuity of automated emails to support participant error/query throughout the event. Support participants to maximise fundraising. To work closely with Digital Co-ordinator and Communications Team To respond to enquiries from supporters, participants, Government Departments and partners; providing information as required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good customer service skills and an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to prioritise and multi-task and work to tight deadlines. Ability to think creatively when solving problems. Previous events and fund raising experience within a charity preferred Experience of Project Management A proven interest in the charity sector and specifically working within events.
