Senior Development Designer Leicester Salary up to £50k DOE The Role Our client is an established Manufacturer of Point Of Sale and Point of Purchase. They work with major clients that you'd regularly see on the high street. The work they do is diverse and exciting with a real understanding of their client's vison on how you perceive their Brand. In recognition of their international presence, strong brand and continued growth, we're recruiting for an Senior Development Designer to add to their vibrant team. A key requirement of this role is working experience within the Point Of Sale industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in Development/Design. You'll report to the Head Of and will work as an integral part of the team to ensure all client requirements are interpreted and translated correctly. The Role: Responsible for large scale projects Work closely with the Account Manager and Client to deliver right 1st time Push creative boundaries with your design solutions Deliver efficiencies to timescale, budgets, materials, manufacturing technique whist considering the environment. Lead projects from concept to through to production Where appropriate; advise Clients of better or alternative solutions The Candidate For this role you will need to: Have excellent communication skills - written and verbal Excellent attention to detail Self-driven and motivated to succeed Previous experience in POS with knowledge of manufacturing techniques to include injection mould design SOLIDWORKS, Adobe Suite & MS Office In-depth knowledge of various materials and production processes Manage time constraints effectively and be a natural forward planner This role will include European and possible International Travel
