Overview

To source, qualify and ultimately land orders to deliver sales targets and gross profit to drive Bailey growth. The role will be the first interface for the customer and therefore leads on the customer experience before working collaboratively with the internal team to ensure customer expectations and specifications are met along with ensuring gross profit margin for the business. Location is dependant upon candidate but there will be an expectation of onsite presence for a period upon first joining the company and thereafter on an agreed basis (potentially once per fortnight). Own and hit agreed annual revenue and gross profit margin targets Identify and generate opportunities and clients to build the sales pipeline; utilising the marketing function to drive market awareness and penetrate customer opportunities Create strong relationships with key customer stakeholders at all levels to establish long lasting relationships to support customer retention Work with Specification Manager to engage and motivate the customer to convert specification opportunities into profitable product sales Follow sales from order to delivery Work closely with the marketing team to implement the marketing plan to penetrate the market and increase Bailey presence Negotiate contracts with customers to ensure commerciality and legality at all stages. Ensure all systems, Hubspot, Epicor, are up to date with accurate information therefore providing accurate forecasting and management of the sales pipeline Responsible to build own relationships with specifiers as well as using the existing data base and employee knowledge. Maintain and report on activity in the market and maintain competitor awareness feeding back to Marketing Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services KPIs Deliver annual sales revenue and gross profit margin targets Deliver and manage a quality customer experience to establish and improve net promoter score Generate and qualify leads ensuring the sales pipeline is managed for planning purposes.
