About the team The BTEC Marketing team generates creative, lead generating B2B campaigns which engage teaching professionals with qualifications and learning services which prepare young people for the world of work. Our markets are both in the UK and international. Based in Oxford and London, we’re an open, friendly team, always open to new ideas and supported by specialists in digital, events, data and research. About the role The ideal role for an early career Marketing professional who'll support the delivery of product campaigns and plans. If this is the job for you, you’ll be able to: Play a key role in implementing multi-channel, end-to-end sales lead generating campaigns, delivering them to the highest quality, on time, within budget and meeting KPIs. Draw on research, message testing and time spent in the market to gather customer and competitor insights and use this to inform marketing campaigns and customer experience. Work with suppliers to commission, track and deliver print and mail items, ensuring all content meets SLAs and quality standards. Meet clear targets and goals for each campaign and measure success through weekly and monthly reporting to drive continuous improvement. Seek out ideas, insights and inspiration from within and outside the education industry to drive creativity and innovation in all aspects of your work. Collaborate with internal teams and colleagues including Sales, Product Management and Teaching Services, ensuring an integrated, go-to-market approach. The role is located at our offices at 80 Strand near to the Tube and Covent Garden or at our offices at Jordan Hill, Oxford . Salary for the role is circa £25,000 pa depending on experience. Qualifications Qualifications Essential: Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in marketing or business. High level of enthusiasm and drive – used to self-start, inspire and motivate the others. Results-driven with the energy and resilience to make things happen. Ability to build relationship and work collaboratively both internally and externally. Commercial mind set. Ability to work under pressure, staying ahead of complex schedules, and maintaining cutting-edge knowledge. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Desirable: Previous work experience in publishing or education sector. Good understanding of the UK education sector. Experience of adhering to a well-known UK or international brand. CIM qualified or strong desire to gain CIM qualification.
