Senior Packaging Artworker - Berkhamsted & Uxbridge Salary: £30,000-£35,000 The Compan y Our client has been founded for 30 years and are one of the fastest growing, privately owned media and marketing services group. The Role To contribute to the performance of the production studio through the delivery of high quality accurate and commercially focused artwork for a wide range of print based projects. Role Responsibilities: To prepare final artwork for print, ensuring client requirement are met. To demonstrate an exceptional understanding & capability in artwork production complimented with an understanding of the repro process To generate repro ready, error free artwork, in accordance with internal guidelines for artwork creation whilst respecting brand guidelines. To ensure all job folders contain final outputs, and sub folders are clearly identified. To keep production management informed of any jobs that may become a risk of non-delivery. To carry out self-checks on produced artwork. To complete the appropriate checklist, sign and date. To record all time and materials into the job system. To carry out calibration and maintenance routines in accordance with (SOP’s) for the department. Essential Skills & Requirements: To contribute to the performance of the production studio through the delivery of high quality accurate and commercially focused artwork for a wide range of print based projects Minimum of 5 years’ experience producing packaging artwork within the graphics arts industry Previous experience in the creation and management of Brand guidelines and templates. Good attention to detail. Sound knowledge of all print process requirements (relating to pre-press). A good sense of layout, balance and how to display information. Strong computer skills in required production software. Good planning and organizational skills. Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Adaptability and flexibility.
