The People Of: Digital are looking for a social media manager with cutting edge skills to join a leading retailer on a maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate should be available for immediate start on a 12-month fixed term contract and be able to commute to our clients’ Nottingham based head office. To be successful in your application the ideal candidate will need to have demonstrable experience in leading and influencing high profile social media campaigns, have managed content/social teams and be commercial/data driven when measuring the success of campaigns. You’ll lead & manage a team, set the strategies and deliver your campaigns. You’ll work across multiple projects at the same time, whilst getting to see the results and you’ll be a key stakeholder within the wider marketing/digital team. Generous salary on offer, Car allowance, bonus structure, fantastic pension, healthcare and a prestigious brand on your cv This is a great opportunity for a candidate with social media experience within a digital agency to make the move in-house Responsibilities: Planning social media advertising campaigns and optimising current campaigns Managing the delivery of social media content with focus on creative optimisation Working as part of an experienced marketing, brand advertising and content team to ensure that social media is part of integrated campaign plans Working with internal stakeholders such as the content team and ATL teams to share insights and gather inputs for future social content Working with external agencies and social media platform teams to create and deliver best in class social campaigns Recommending and managing paid influencers as part of campaign integration Ideal Candidate: Experience in delivering social media strategy and implementation Highly creative with experience of identifying target audiences and devising engaging social media campaigns Experience and proven ability of leading and motivating a team, managing and training staff in digital marketing at a variety of levels Experience of analysing social media campaigns for effectiveness and ROI Experience of social media in a large, complex organisation ensuring both paid and organic activity is evidence-driven and customer focused Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, tools and best practice platforms This role is based in Nottingham and should be commutable to anyone living across the East Midlands. It will require occasional travel. Remuneration for this role is completely dependent on experience but will offer a base salary between £40-50k. On top of that a rewarding package is on offer including car allowance, pension, healthcare and other benefits.
