Overview

An exciting opportunity has come up to join our client based in High Wycombe as a Marketing Executive. The Marketing Executive will have primary responsibility for implementing the marketing strategy for the client which will support the brand and drive sales and online traffic. The role will also involve supporting the product development function within the organisation to ensure that a consistent pipeline of new products are available for our customers. Competency Requirement: 1) Degree Level qualification from a recognised institution. Degree in Marketing and/or science would be an advantage as would a CIM qualification. 2) Proven marketing and promotions experience. 3) Customer focused with an understanding of sales & marketing 4) An understanding of online digital marketing and websites. 5) Understanding of CRM packages in particular e-marketing 6) Good project management/organisational skills. 7) Numerate, literate & analytical with excellent attention to detail 8) Able to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Publisher to intermediate level 9) High levels of creativity Responsibilities and Duties: 1) Development and creation of marketing collateral, both print and digital, in line with overall marketing strategy, including product catalogues and product data sheets 2) Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites. 3) Managing the marketing budget on a day to day basis. 4) Providing the sales team with marketing support. 5) Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion for each competitor. 6) Development and implementation of the social media strategy. 7) Updating and maintenance of the clients website including liaising with IT support company. 8) E-marketing via CRM system including analysis of data. 9) Coordination and attendance at trade exhibitions. 10) Coordinating internal sales meetings. 11) Supporting the new product development process and assisting in the launch of new product including competitor analysis, pricing proposals and marketing plans. 12) Meeting with customers and suppliers with potential overseas travel. 13) To carry out additional tasks under the guidance and direction of the Marketing Manager where required Authority: 1) Booking events trade shows, exhibitions and related travel. 2) Coordinating 3rd party marketing suppliers.
