Overview

Title: Marketing Manager Location: Farnham Salary: 30k - 35k dependent on experience Do you want to work for a market leading healthcare business, which specialises in the development, manufacture and distribution of medical device products? We are looking for a highly driven Marketing Manager to join the team in their Farnham office. Due to the size of the business, responsibilities are varied and we are looking for a real hands-on person who will hit the ground running in this newly created role. You will work alongside the Marketing Manager (Lead Gen) and the sales team, with a focus on implementing campaigns and driving customer engagement with the business. You will be passionate about the understanding the customers and their specific challenges to find the best solution to meet their needs. Key responsibilities: Assisting in the development of the annual marketing calendar Responsible for the implementation of the campaigns on the calendar (identifying which channels and tools to use and when, to best achieve the marketing objectives e.g. website and social media content, digital marketing, promotions, collateral, events, PR etc). Campaigns may include new product or service launches, industry-leading 'news’ and innovations and thought leadership campaigns around 'hot’ topics within the industry Writing content briefs for the creation of branded content, working with the technical experts to understand and collate appropriate technical data and product information. Identify and ensure the key customer messages and CTAs are briefed Ensure the customer is at the heart of all marketing activity, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the customer, their needs and how best to engage them with the PolarSeal business Manage the website (including management of web-related external suppliers). Oversee the development of the site including design and brand messaging. Ensure this is aligned with the customer journey. Working with external SEO / PPC suppliers, ensure that the site is optimised and digital marketing activity is used effectively to drive web traffic and increase awareness of the businesses with its target audiences. Assist in event planning Manage the creation and production of branded collateral Measure monthly KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness, determine ROI for all activities Feed in to the annual marketing budget Actively support sales in order to achieve revenue budgets Skills and experience: A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a broad remit B2B marketing role, ideally within the medical / pharmaceutical / biotechnology / healthcare industry Previous experience of the execution of strategic and tactical marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) is essential You will be customer-centric with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and target marketing campaigns and brand messages to different target audiences You will be fully experienced in managing social media for a brand (primarily LinkedIn) Highly articulate, with strong attention to detail Excellent written, presentation, communication and organisational skills Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google analytics as a minimum) Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships (internal and external) Excellent team player Flexible, resilient and able to adapt to the needs of a growing business
