Overview
Brighton-based online publisher seeks a junior business development executive to help manage the jobs board on its high-profile and market-leading news and recruitment site for journalists, Journalism.co.uk. The role will suit a bright, web-literate and motivated graduate (ideally) with self-confidence and an outgoing and positive personality. We are seeking the following skills (in no particular order): Important: Outstanding communication skills - written (grammar, punctuation, spelling) and verbal. Can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable talking to people face to face and over the telephone. Good organisational and time management skills. Desired: An interest in the news and consumer publishing industries (we welcome journalism graduates, but all disciplines considered). Basic digital photo editing skills. Interest in business.
