Venn Group - The contract recruitment specialists Senior Communications Officer Where: Home-working Contact length: 3 months Reference: 6953680 Hourly rate: £15-22 DOE (Via umbrella) Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Senior Communications Officer to join our highly esteemed public sector client. Duties will include: Will be responsible for producing reactive external communications content Act as first point of contact on the telephone, providing a response or advice to ensure all communications enquiries are answered quickly and accurately Write press releases, edit and write newsletter content, create information and publicity materials, update and maintain websites and social media channels Support the Communications Manager, Digital Communications Manager and Digital Communications Coordinator on developing and monitoring the use of social media, including developing content Manage the relationship with external suppliers such as marketing agencies, photographers, printers and designers Research and write press releases, statements and articles for local and national media Essential Requirements: Ability to work remotely Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or the media Demonstrable high level written ability Desirable Requirements: Experience of using Trello or MS Teams To apply for this role or to find out about other Communications and Marketing jobs, please contact Riley Garnett, Lori Smith or Cameron O’Donnell on the South West Communications Recruitment team on or alternatively email Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
