Presentation Designer

Due to significant organic growth in Synaptik our creative and digital studio we are looking for an additional Presentation Designer to join our team in London or Manchester. The Presentation Designer will be responsible for the comprehensive preparation of PowerPoint presentations for designated projects to be delivered to global pharmaceutical clients. You will develop scientific presentations for use in live conference meetings, scientific events, new business initiatives and internal communications whilst working within brand guides. Candidates should have an excellent working knowledge of working with native PowerPoint, creating bespoke templates and slide masters for use in projection and various digital media. To be successful, you will be strong on analysing data and presenting information in a clear and concise manner to our clients. Therefore, you will be an expert in getting the best out of each slide set to ensure that the right information is displayed in the most effective way. You will also be required to prepare slides for inclusion in the layout of various materials, including publications, publicity materials, exhibition displays and conference promotional literature. The roles may involve some travel, onsite technical support experience is an advantage but will be primarily office-based. Skills & Experience required: •Extensive experience in a similar presentations/DTP-type role •Advanced user of MS Office 2010, possessing an understanding of Adobe Creative Suite •Ability to work quickly and accurately to produce original presentations using native PowerPoint 2010 •Able to provide MS Office 2010 technical support to the in-house client base •Knowledge and experience in all aspects of preparing presentations for distribution •While core activities centre on the ability to develop effective presentations and data delivery, we are interested in additional skills candidates bring •Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be liaising with colleagues at all levels In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package we are happy to talk flexible working.
