Community Protection Officer - Full Time - Temporary Ongoing - Walsall - Negotiable Pay Rate Your new company Hays are currently supporting an organisation with the recruitment of a Community Protection Officer on a temporary basis. Within this organisation, you will be responsible for the upkeep and protection of the local community of Walsall. Your new role Under the general direction of the Regulatory Services Manager, you will deliver community protection service in line with current corporate, national and regional policies and priorities. Through the day to day operation of the service and using appropriate intelligence methods work as part of a team of officers to achieve appropriate impacts and outcomes for residents, businesses and visitors to the Walsall area. The service is currently responsible for licensing enforcement, environment crime, noise, certain elements of pollution, ASB, unauthorised encampments. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have experience of identifying trends and issues with intelligence and analysis data in compliance with legislation within the scope of the role. You will be able to work in partnership with other services and stakeholders where appropriate action is required around proposing and assisting in implementing solutions and strategies for the team and service to meet corporate, national and service objective and priorities. What you'll get in return This is a full time temporary contract at a competitive hourly rate. Funds will be paid out to yourself on a weekly basis. All compliance will be kept up to date by Hays and any necessary training will be provided by Hays or the Organisation you will be working for.
