Job Title: Email Marketing Senior Executive - CRM & Loyalty Location: Close to Tunbridge Wells/High Brooms Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 (based on experience) Benefits: 30 days leave (this includes bank holidays), Healthcare, Pension, Staff discount scheme, Gym discounts and more So you’re an experienced CRM Marketer, and know your way around trigger, lifecycle and automated email marketing programmes. You’ve looked at a few roles and have got bored with the lack of creativity shown with opening lines like ‘my client’ followed by a series of superfluous adjectives like ‘excellent’ or ‘fantastic’ with no grounding. Well, you won’t find that here. What you’ve actually come across is a decent opportunity with prospects, working with an international brand without the costly London commute. It’s a firm with a bit of heritage and has good employer reputation. It’s somewhere you’d be proud to say to friends and family you’re a part of. You probably want to know brand name, but this is an agency written advert, so we can’t say right now. But let’s just say you won’t be disappointed. This is a dot com success story. A business who’s made the transition going from bricks and mortar store operations to international digital economy market leader within in their sector. THE ROLE You’ll be joining their digital marketing function, overseeing the end-to-end email marketing programme which covers lifecycle, trigger and promotional CRM, as well as supporting the loyalty programme too. It’s a team of 4 people, with this being a new hire to the team, acting as No2 in the eCRM function. In addition to the day-to-day campaign piece, you will be looking at how to improve performance. Digging into customer behavioural and performance data to find opportunities to improve the effectiveness of each campaign. Identifying new or fixing existing journeys, as well as inputting the right test and learn approach in order to continuously optimise each element of the programme. You’ll hold an international remit, as the business operates in more than a hundred countries. Working on projects end-to-end with in-house design, content, customer experience and retention marketing functions to achieve a high quality, joined up email programme. In addition is the opportunity for future learning. The business is evaluating a switch of CRM email platform. Once decided, training on the new platform will be provided. It will also give opportunity to re-think the strategy, customer journeys and automation. So will afford the opportunity to gain some really valuable strategic experience helping to elevate the art of what’s possible given the new platform’s features. Location: You can walk from High Brooms train station in around 25 minutes to their offices. There’s also parking available onsite and nearby to their offices. In addition, they run a shuttle bus to and from stations. EXPERIENCE NEEDED You’ve a decent grounding in e-commerce and email marketing Have knowledge of an ESP platform and open minded to learning a new one (the business is evaluating options of a migration, with training being provided at that point) Evidence of how you’ve leveraged data to inform marketing decisions – namely on targeting decisions, segmentations, test and learn strategies You’ve worked in high-pace, consumer centric CRM environments before Competent project management skills with a marketers mind.
