COPYWRITER (MATERNITY COVER) BANBURY, OXFORDSHIRE £25K My client is an international fashion eCommerce retailer and they are looking for a Copywriter to join the Marketing team (maternity cover). The Copywriter plays a pivotal role in managing the copy across marketing, eCommerce, Digital and Product working closely with all teams and will be required to plan and execute a monthly content calendar for the brands in the UK and US. AS COPYWRITER, YOUR ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Expert knowledge of the English language including spelling, grammar and punctuation - samples of your work will be requested Have excellent admin and time keeping skills Able to create engaging, user-friendly content Able to learn new systems quickly and easily Able to work well as an individual and as part of a team Have excellent interpersonal skills Organised and detail-oriented to ensure consistency Confident communicator across the business Ability to multi-task, prioritise and feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment AS COPYWRITER, RELEVANT COMPETENCIES WILL INCLUDE: The successful candidate will have worked for at least 2 years in a marketing/communications/content role in an agency Excellent time Management Take a brief and interpret it into original copy ensuring the core message are included and written in either brand’s tone of voice Produced copy for the US or have an awareness of producing copy relevant for a US audience It is essential to have experience in both consumer and trade copywriting It is essential that the candidate has experience in copywriting for both online and offline channels including social media An interest in or knowledge of the fashion industry would be advantageous.
