Your role in the team As a Customer Insight Analyst here at William Hill, you'll be part of a small and talented team with a wealth of experience, who are constantly looking at our customers and how they're thinking. You'll crunch the data, analyse the information and produce sharp commercial insights to act on. You'll love the idea of figuring out different angles or approaches for future campaigns and interactions with our customers - maybe ideas that nobody has come up with before Make no mistake, you'll be able to see the impact of your work and have the chance to work with an impressive tech stack. Our team take pride in using multiple data sources to create clear recommendations that can be turned into actions. You'll work together with our stakeholders from around the business, including Marketing, Sports and Gaming, to understand their campaign objectives and business performance. Your focus will be to reach meaningful conclusions and make recommendations (cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting, impact analysis and ROI) which will optimise our customer interactions. You'll translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs and standardised reports and dashboards, to monitor and drive the business. Skills needed You'll have a curious mind and a real talent for asking the right questions, flexing your analytical mind to leave no ambiguity and to challenge the way we do things. Pro-active, inquisitive and flexible in your approach, you have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines and on multiple projects at the same time. You're a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and of course you're highly organised and driven by producing high quality work with a healthy respect for quality and standards. You'll be highly experienced with a track record of analysing large data sets, having manipulated and processed using SQL on a regular basis and you'll be proficient in a recognised visualisation tool. If you know how to code in Python that would be brilliant, but, if not we're fine with someone that's just keen to learn Your technical skills will be second to none and you'll bring your knowledge, vision and innovative ideas to the team. We need you to have a relevant data or numerical qualification such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or similar and you will have worked in analytics in a data driven environment for at least 3 years - at some point in a marketing related role. A real people person with excellent communication skills and a sparkling personality, you'll build strong collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and be confident in presenting back your findings verbally and visually to both technical and non-technical people.
