We are the a highly acquisitive organisation and have a pipeline of acquisitions in our growth strategy that will need support with. Your role will be to support the M&A Strategy Manager and Head of Business Strategy in preparation of communications, presentations and information packs for senior stakeholders in the business. In addition, you will perform detailed financial analysis (mainly excel based) and report your findings to influence investments decision making. Who do you report into? You will report into the Head of Business Strategy of the Atlanta group and your key relationships will be the M&A Strategy Manager, FP&A Team, CFO, CIO, Executive Committee and our External Advisors. Your manager comes from a Big 4 Practice background with several years of experience in industry. A highly intellectual individual with ambitions to grow his function and team as the organisation grows. They will provide you with briefs for project, but have the expectations for you to set the path you are going to go through to reach the desired business objectives What will be your main points of focus/challenges? Corporate Projects: You will produce strategy projects to support the Executive Committee around customers, market and implementing corporate projects. Strategy & Board Presentations: You will deliver your team findings and present them in a professional manager with high quality presentations for the Executive Committee and senior leadership. Financial Insights & Analysis: You will support the M&A Strategy Manager making commercial decisions by preparing financial insights and thorough analysis of potential acquisitions. What are your key responsibilities? Preparation of presentations to Board and Exco including strategy presentations and Board reporting Financial modelling to support business acquisitions / book transfers including sensitivity analysis Develop and implement an effective process to ensure reports and analysis are presented to senior stakeholders that provides clear narrative and recommendations Support in the preparation of key documents and reports to support acquisitions including investment memorandums and integration plans As appropriate, lead on adhoc projects and business deep-dives Responsible for quality, transparency and timeliness of delivery against deadline / milestones Supporting commercial decision making through the preparation of financial insight and analysis Preparation and presentation of ad-hoc analysis to senior stakeholders Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes What skills & experience do you require? Relevant Degree Degree or equivalent Excellent analytical, numerical and modelling skills Excellent PowerPoint and Excel Skills Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills Proven experience in a role in which business performance has been analysed, and insight provided on findings A flexible, proactive approach to work Excellent attention to detail and deliver with a high level of accuracy Ability to prioritise, meet changing deadlines and work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision Ability to partner and communicate with key stakeholders effectively Team player and ability to work collaboratively What's in it for me?
