Overview
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join the team to be based in Co. Durham. Due to significant growth, we need a Marketing Communications Manager to join the team. You will be leading the coordination and execution of both tactical and strategic marketing campaigns throughout the company's global market via both direct and distribution channels within core product categories. Responsibilities Supporting the Commercial Director with key projects including organising and executing exhibitions and product launch campaigns. Approving international marketing materials and press releases, international marketing communications plans and international social channel marketing activity. Working alongside the Commercial Director as a 'brand champion', ensuring strong communication of the brand both in direct sales channels and through distribution partnerships. Ensuring timely reviews of material and highlighting any potential issues. Fostering excellent external relationships with distributors. Delivering style guides and marketing planning and support as necessary. Supporting the appointed PR agency on campaign activation including liaising with clients and media. Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, trade publications, social media sites for opportunities. Presenting campaign evaluations and keeping distribution partners and colleagues updated on activity. Responsibility for the maintenance and distribution of key company assets such as brand toolkit. Working with key advertising partners globally and ensure that all materials are provided with the agreed messaging in a timely fashion and where possible promotional materials are tracked for performance. Gathering relevant information from internal stakeholders to develop and deliver the quarterly internal newsletter, develop content and disseminate key internal messages associated with the change programme. Experience Skills Required Degree qualified, preferably in Marketing or Business. Demonstrable experience of marketing in a product-based environment. Good understanding and awareness of the key concepts in the marketing mix. Aptitude for Technical Products and Applications combined with a creative approach to marketing. Experience of managing the work-flow of others. Flexible and able to manage with several varying tasks and different people at one time in a fast-paced marketing department. Qualifications Degree qualified, preferably in Marketing or Business.
