Overview

Exciting part time marketing opportunity for a company currently undertaking a brand relaunch, refocussing its marketing activity and developing a new website. It is estimated the role will be 18 - 20 hours per week with flexibility over how the hours are worked. Would suit someone with a marketing background in a standalone role. Role purpose To provide day to day marketing support to generate leads for the sales team. To manage digital and social media channels with the objective of increasing our engagement with our target markets through increased followers, subscribers, likes, shares, traffic. Manage this process through monitoring websites, newsfeeds, blogs, and working with our sales teams to learn about trends, topics and issues in our markets. Use insight gained to create regular, engaging content for use across our digital / social media channels. Through training, make basic use of the HubSpot CRM system to manage the process, and track and report on results. Responsibilities Lead Generation o Work with the sales team to meet company targets for lead generation form specifiers and key clients Content marketing o Work with leaders across the business to research and create an editorial calendar of content ideas and topics on themes and issues relevant to our target audiences o Monitor external websites, newsfeeds, blogs, that are relevant to our industry, and audiences, sharing / re-posting topics of interest into our social media channels o Write and produce content, based on the editorial calendar, to use in blog posts, social media and other digital marketing channels as required o Manage scheduling, and work in progress of larger content pieces (e.g. specification sheets), with external agency(ies) based on day to day sales requirements Digital marketing o Manage company social media channels writing and posting content to increase followers and drive traffic to website. o Write and post a regular blog for publication on website and re-posting on social media o Working with sales leaders, produce regular e-newsletters for our roof and walls businesses and send to respective audiences via HubSpot o Be an active member of the team involved in the future scoping, specifying, development, and deployment of a new website CRM / Marketing Automation o Undertake basic training on HubSpot CRM to be able to create and send basic marketing emails, post content into social media channels, track and report on results, and make basic changes / updates to marketing database information. General Activities o Work with external agencies, as required. o Other activities as required Person specification Curious, creative, inquisitive, and keen to learn Good communication skills, particularly written communications Ability to write for online, and social media channels Well organised with an eye for detail Some experience with basic office productivity software e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel Familiarity with social media especially LinkedIn and Twitter Comfortable working within teams, and under own initiative Marketing experience desirable
