Overview

Marketing Executive Sheffield/Manchester based Our clients are looking to recruit an experienced, creative and driven Marketing Executive to work in a standalone role. The successful candidate will take full control of the marketing function and be a true 'brand ambassador’ who should be self-motivated, ambitious and driven to achieve the highest standards. You will be able to understand the relevant impact, means and channels for appropriate content to capture client awareness. With the overall aim of creating suitable brand value, engagement, opportunities and leads for the sales teams. Previous experience in a similar marketing role is essential. Key responsibilities: Devise and implement the annual marketing strategy with a focus on developing brand presence and creating engaging and creative marketing campaigns Manage the day-to-day marketing activity, working closely with members of the sales team to create high quality marketing communications and materials to support the sales functions Creation of marketing materials such as product sheets, brochures, email campaigns Create and schedule engaging social media feeds Email campaign planning and strategy Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery Ensure the brand standards are met and maintained Maintain and develop a GDPR compliant email marketing database Creation of suitable online (web pages, video animations, etc) and offline (print, events, etc) engagement methods to maximise ROI on marketing spend Develop and report on suitable metrics to assess impact, engagement, performance and ROI of the marketing plan Content writing/copywriting Manage pay-per-click (PPC) and programmatic advertising Technical experience A good working knowledge of cross platform campaign planning and creation is essential Knowledge of dotMailer and mailchimp would be advantageous Good understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy and colour The following are essential: Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills, professional, dependable, team player Experience of delivering in a sales environment Ability to develop effective trusted working relationships Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and use own initiative Excellent IT & social media skills Flexible and adaptable in responding to changing business needs Self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude As a brand advocate for the business you will be expected to learn about every aspect of the company and our services. This is a hands-on role, not just a desk-based function. The right candidate will be proactive, motivated with a can-do attitude. There will be the need to travel between Sheffield and Manchester on an ad-hoc basis.
