Due to significant business growth and the resulting investment in our marketing team, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to support our Public (Health and Social Care) cluster. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver an exceptional marketing programme that excites our target clients and delivers real value for our business. There will likely be around 3-4 days per month ad hoc UK based travel associated with this role Salary: £40,000-£45,000 benefits, based on a 37.5 hour working week This is a permanent role 28 days annual leave What is the role? Our work in the Public Sector helps uncover significant and measurable financial savings. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our expanding marketing team. The successful candidate will own the delivery of an exceptional marketing programme, aligned to our vision and supporting our customer advocacy strategy and business development plans. You will report to the Marketing Engagement Business Partner for the Public Cluster (Health and Social Care) and have support from the wider marketing team. You’ll have a strong track record of delivering highly targeted marketing programmes, and experience of developing and executing programmes to engage the C-suite. You’ll be working in partnership with people at all levels of the business to design and deliver plans which will achieve measurable results, so you’ll need to be able to build strong relationships. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns in order to deepen and widen our network of relevant connections and accelerate pipeline opportunities. Deliver our influencer and partner engagement plans to a high standard - creating brilliant assets to engage our advocates and prospects. Clearly articulate our capabilities and create compelling messaging, content and creative that will appeal to and most importantly engage our C-suite audience. Event management and execution - from concept ideation to execution and follow-up, ensuring every person at Newton knows their role before, during and after the event to maximise value to the business. Report on all programmes delivered - from campaigns and events, to media engagement and digital. Be a strong deputy to our market engagement business partner, supporting stakeholders and more junior members of the marketing team. Your education, skills and experience: You’ll be a high calibre individual, with exceptional levels of personal drive and eagerness for personal development. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential to fit into the Newton culture. During your application process we will be looking for the following skills and attributes: B2B marketing experience A love for events - have previously delivered high value events that target senior decision makers and the C-suite. A strong project manager who is happy to pick up a campaign and run with it, from helping to develop a concept through the delivery and analysis. Able to evidence experience of successfully delivering marketing campaigns that meet objectives and achieve measurable results (KPIs). Excellent structured communication and presentation skills as well as creative copywriter. Commercially aware and confident at building relationships. Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload. Seen as an expert marketeer and go to person for advice on delivering exceptional high-quality campaigns. Experienced at creating case studies, PR & thought leadership, award entries, creative assets, videos, social, email, web, etc. Knowledge of sectors is beneficial, but not essential (e.g. health and social care) as is having worked in a professional services environment.
