Role & Responsibilities Overview This role calls for a confident Creative Media Designer competent in a wide range of graphic design packages. The role requires someone with a high quality and original graphic design ability who is not fazed by tight deadlines. The focus of the role is to: The focus of this role is to be responsible for all elements of design in the organisation from sales and marketing materials to mobile apps to ensuring brand and design consistency throughout the business. The key responsibilities of this role include: Design of digital learning assets: layout, backgrounds, component design, buttons Creating compelling animations for use in learning contexts Layout and graphic design for mobile applications and websites Sales and marketing materials, such as proposals and promotional work for print and online use Providing creative input and design of visuals for product and brand events Creating models, diagrams and tools to enhance design materials Creating visual sales proposals and pitches including designing visual boards, materials and presentations Briefing and managing external graphic design resources and printers Assisting the wider Studio Team with filming and video editing requirements Provide regular feedback to the Head of Studio regarding the progress and impact of projects. Support all areas of the business, including Solutions, Account Management etc. where appropriate Focus on business objectives and client satisfaction, designing solutions accordingly Update and maintain weekly project records Liaise with all other members of the Studio Team as necessary Contribute to continuous improvement activities, ensuring that the Studio Team deliver the RTS Group leading edge philosophy/premium brand Share new ideas and information with other members of the team, promoting an environment of continual improvement and support Proficiency working in the macOS environment Carry out all work in a health and safety conscious manner Competencies / Knowledge / Skills: Enthusiasm Excellent attention to detail Client focus Communication Problem solving Can-do attitude Drive for improvements Working with others Business awareness Planning and organisation Advantageous: Adobe After Effects Adobe Audition Adobe Prelude Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Story Articulate Storyline Lectora Digital design experience Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe XD High quality and original graphic design ability An ability to quickly create contemporary designs that meet a brief with little or no iterations required Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Media, Interactive Media, Media Production, or similar Essential: Digital design experience Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe XD High quality and original graphic design ability An ability to quickly create contemporary designs that meet a brief with little or no iterations required Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Media, Interactive Media, Media Production, or similar Reporting Lines & Support This role will report to our Head of Studio.
