Overview

We are currently seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to support the continued growth in our Kent Offices. Reporting directly to the Marketing Partner and Business Development Manager you will work with our partners and managers to apply an effective and sustainable business development strategy along for the Kent offices. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by forging strong relationships with and winning new clients for the firm. Your responsibilities will be to Develop a successful business development plan focused both on the winning of profitable and sustainable new business Draw together intelligence from publically available information (websites, Market IQ, Companies House etc.) of prospective clients to identify opportunities for Crowe Support the partners in creation and maintenance of sales pipelines using appropriate tools (Interaction) and targeting meetings with partners and managers Manage proposal tenders Proactively arrange business development meetings with prospective clients Undertake follow-up calls to networking and marketing activity to generate appropriate meetings with prospective clients Report directly to the Marketing Partner and Business Development Manager, providing trustworthy feedback and reporting accurate progress against the agreed plan and budget Proactively develop a personal network of intermediary and business introducer contacts in the local area Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients of the firm Support the partners in delivering the firm-wide objectives and rolling-out national marketing and BD initiatives supporting local implementation of advertising, social media, sponsorship, PR opportunities as deemed appropriate The ideal candidate will Have proven work experience in business development, ideally in a professional services environment Be knowledgeable of the business market in South East England (particularly in Kent and Sussex) Be prepared to challenge the way we do things and suggest viable alternative options Be comfortable working with partners and ensuring that plans are delivered on time and to budget Be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (training on our specific software, Interaction, will be given) Have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the confidence to contact and follow up prospects both by phone and email Have the ability to build rapport with prospects, clients, staff and partners Understand the importance of long term, sustainable and profitable growth Possess excellent time management and planning skills
