Overview
Reporting to the Digital & Web Manager, the Content Producer & Editor will write and manage digital content to fulfil a range of online products and services that focuses on automatic enrolment (AE) for The Pensions Regulator (TPR), that reflect the needs of customers, meet the regulator's business requirements and enable effective customer engagement. Key Responsibilities In this role you will work closely with our Communications colleagues internally and within the Pensions Regulator, our IT team and Operations departments. You will be required to create and manage website content through the use of our Web Content Management System, Sitecore; and participate in evaluating suggested changes to design, layout and content with the help of our analytics software, feedback from research and other sources. Assist in specifying and managing website developments (including new journeys, and CMS A/B and multivariate tests) aimed at improving website functionality, usability, traffic and conversion rates. Ensure all the regulator's online AE content complies with government web standards for accessibility and usability and maintains a consistent brand message. Skills & Experience Essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with evidence of building good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels Excellent understanding of writing for the web (and knowledge of SEO, usability and accessibility practices) Comfortable creating content from scratch and/or from content briefs Experience with web-based Content Management Systems (CMS) Good knowledge and experience of website design and user experience Technical understanding of web / digital terminology and ability to convey this in a non-technical way Experience of leading content workshops and producing a plan of content review / approval timings to share with the Client Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to manage and work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously and within a fast-paced environment Experience of providing analysis and reporting on various web pages and their relative successes, and the confidence to make recommendations for change and improvement to the Digital & Web Manager Minimum of 3-5 years digital experience writing content for the web Desirable: Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics Demonstrable experience of working with editorial and video production agencies to produce compelling content across numerous formats and types Innovative and finds creative solutions to problems A team player who can influence and support others Driven to identify new opportunities, passionate about delivering outstanding results and who lives and breathes all things digital Have a proactive approach to your work. The role is based at The Pensions Regulator's offices in Brighton (3 mins walk from Brighton Station). Due to the nature of the role, you may occasionally be required to travel (to Reading or Birmingham) and work unsociable hours.
