Overview
Our client are looking for a hands-on Marketing & Events Executive with a strong focus on supporting the delivery of business development plans and marketing campaigns. This is a pro-active challenging role, that requires attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task with a 'can do’ approach. You will be required to travel to other offices or venue locations to support campaigns and event delivery. Due to the nature of the role the post-holder may also be required to undertake evening or weekend work for which they will accrue time off in lieu to be taken back at an agreed time with the manager and travel to other offices. You will need a driving license and access to a car. Key Duties: Fully supports the team on the coordination and project management of events and sponsorships. Attends meetings in order to understand key objectives, making clear notes for action plans. Leads in the production of project timelines, sourcing venue and catering suppliers, assembling invitation lists, preparing PowerPoint, or other presentations, co-ordinating badges, table plans and hand-outs and providing front of house support at events. In conjunction with other members of the marketing team, providing 'on the ground’ support for events and seminars, from time to time across all four offices. Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple marketing channels including, social media, feeding back website updates and contributing to the planning of new campaigns. Designing and producing marketing collateral in the form of invitations, flyers, brochures, adverts, and other support materials Ongoing capture, cleansing, maintenance and enhancement of data to support the firms CRM system as well as supporting data on clients, targets and intermediaries. Supporting the preparation of reports, coordinating data lists for targeting purposes. Fully adheres to brand guidelines Supports the preparation of presentations and other marketing templates. Proof read documents Collate and update team sheets and support production of firm wide literature for events. Source promotional goods Supporting invoice processing and adhering to firms purchase order and marketing expenses processes. Keep diary. Register of banners and display stand requirements and locations. Qualifications/Experience: Marketing and events background ideally gained within a professional services or corporate environment. Full driving licence Desk top publishing skills in InDesign or similar IT Literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills) Sound proof reading and copywriting skills Extensive knowledge of Excel and ideally knowledge of CRM or data management systems
