Overview
Summary of Role This role works within the Information and Cyber Security (ICS) team, helping to drive and support a secure culture right across the business globally. We have big plans in this space to create the most secure Willis Towers Watson possible and one of the key ways we will do this is through our people. You’ll need to be energetic and focused on making a difference as you’ll be a key part of establishing new channels, networks and communities across the business. You’ll have to quickly get your head around things and turn large scale projects and programmes into compelling narratives and stories for our people globally. You’ll be great at data and reporting and will have strong experience in this area, but at the same time bring a creative edge to how we present it, to help get the attention of our key stakeholders and colleagues. Reporting to the Information Security Education and Awareness Lead, you will be their dedicated and enthusiastic support for making sure everyone is not only supportive of our transformation programme, but measurably engaged. This is a new role, supporting the ICS team right across the board; designing and delivering eye-catching and memorable training and communications and working with the Lead in coordinating large-scale awareness campaigns. But we’ll also need you to be just as at home analyzing data and generating regular training reports and papers. The base working location is flexible with Ipswich, Reigate or London as options The Role This role will support the delivery of communication and reporting within ICS and to the wider business and will therefore include activities such as: Supporting the training, awareness and communications plan for the team, aligned to the overarching ICS strategy into 2020 and further forward Working closely with the Lead to delivering awareness campaigns, communications and events Leading on the creation and accuracy of reporting data on training and communications, feeding it up into the master ICS plan Supporting all the programmes within the plan, making sure the employee is at the heart of all decisions made Supporting all deployments within the programme in a logical, timely and focused way – being creative with your channels to reach the right people at the right time Working with core teams and stakeholders, such as Communication and Legal to make sure they are fully supportive and engaged in our plans Engaging and supporting our “cyber champions” network, being a point of contact for all their questions and ideas Working closely with our global and local communications groups and specialists to ensure success of communications programs and campaigns Working with the Communication team to ensure optimal timing of training interventions Devising and delivering regular colleagues awareness programmes, eg phishing campaigns, targeted training (e.g. Privileged users) The Requirements Skills Experience in working on compelling training, awareness and communication in a global organisation Proven background in measuring and reporting KPIs for training, awareness and communications Clear understanding of what makes employees listen to communications and gets them talking Demonstrate experience in building cultural communities and networks to improve training, awareness and communication and change behaviors. Lots of ideas on ways and methods we could use that might not have been thought of before. The mindset and resilience to deliver large scale global campaigns with multiple communication approaches and channels Proven ability to work in a global, collaborative group environment Experience of working with a high degree of autonomy, managing own workload and delivering to tight timescales Qualifications: Qualified degree or relevant experience on the role A proven interest in growing your knowledge in comms, engagement and employee psychology based topics Behaviors: A logical and organised mind Resourcefulness and organisational agility Global team player with good interpersonal and influencing skills Conflict Management Resolution (Options Analysis) Customer Focus & Integrity and Trust Personal Learning & development Equal Opportunity Employer
