Overview
Senior Project Manager 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Nuneaton £70,000 - £75,000 I am currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for a Logistics organisation based in Nuneaton. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the Programme Delivery System, product and principle, the quality of project management resource and be lead auditor for all live projects and be accountable for the quality of approach and risk of each project. The Senior Project Manager will provide essential insight to the change portfolio, the Project Delivery System is a tried and tested approach which needs to be constantly challenged in terms of content, delivery and accessibility to the users. This role will be responsible for continually improving the method and introduce new tools as appropriate. This role has full responsibility for delivery of all projects to time, quality and cost targets. The Senior Project Manager will provide a gravitas in change through PDS as a product and have experience of significant change management. You will proactively identify, analyse, & mitigate potential threats to a programme and will act as auditor / assurance for project delivery. You will ensure that appropriate resources are available for developing and maintaining a structured plan enabling the appropriate approvals, baselining, reporting and controls to be undertaken and ensure budgets are created, tracked and forecast. All Projects and Programmes are delivered using standard PDS methodology. The Senior Project Manager will have a demonstrable track record of leading large teams in the delivery of professional services, with a track record of raising the level of capability within a project delivery team. Experience of working in a centralised change environment and the management of complex stakeholders with the ability to build strong, strategic relationships with both internal and external contacts. Extensive end to end project delivery experience, using a variety of methodologies. You will have managed complex I.T/ business projects. E.g. WMS implementation or new warehouse build projects, managing large-scale change programmes and projects, managing multi-million-pound programmes.
