Overview
Looking for a Category Assistant: To become the category champion for the relevant portfolios, supporting the Category Executive to deliver the product road map within the overall long term strategy of the business. Market mapping, researching and market analysis, aiding identification of competitor and consumer trends. Identify new product and/or category opportunities via both product innovation and product enhancement. Range management - Manage the product life cycle across the business, discontinuing & managing exit plans where necessary and communicate the SKU status within the business. Develop merchandising and POS solutions for all routes to market. General Category Assistant duties include; new product set-up, raising sku & barcodes, launch packs, product packaging briefs Manage and communicate with cross functional teams, in the European business, US Head Office and Asia office. Support internal departments with the necessary product knowledge, technical expertise, sales tools and sales training materials. Manage product-related support, feedback and enquiries from users. Control of back offices for all companies UK websites, to ensure accurate and complete representation of the product portfolio. With a variety of categories and unique technologies which have made them a familiar name in the sector with several brands across this market.
