Overview

B2B Marketing Assistant A great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to start a career in Marketing working for the UK’s largest construction safety group, BSG (Building Safety Group). In the role of B2B Marketing Assistant you will be involved in a variety of activities to support business objectives that will include; Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers and newsletters Communicating with target audiences Writing and proofreading copy Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials Maintaining and updating customer databases Organising events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies Evaluating marketing campaigns Monitoring competitor activity Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues Requirements Applicants must have: Graduate degree An aptitude and passion for 'Marketing’ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Creative writing skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills Ability to manage multiple projects at one time The ability to work to deadlines Competent at proof reading and excellent attention to detail Have a competent understanding of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, PowerPoint and Excel A general knowledge of working with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is preferred but not essential A high standard of computer literacy Offered Full time position (8.30am - 5pm) Competitive salary Matched contributory pension scheme 26 days holiday per annum Training as required Send your CV and letter of application explaining why you are suitable for the position.
