Marketing Campaign Manager 20 hours per week £17,580 per annum, actual (FTE £30,765) Fixed Term Contract 9-12 months Stevenage, Hertfordshire We are looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager to join the IET family We are the IET and we inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community to engineer a better world. You will be working with the wider marketing team and be responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns for our communities which are networks of members who want to work together to engineer a better world. You will be working closely with business stakeholders and marketing colleagues to support customer engagement and contribute to KPIs. The successful candidate will be results driven and a confident campaign manager with the ability to plan outstanding campaigns, build excellent relationships and understand the needs of the customer. The successful candidate will be experienced in multichannel marketing, campaign planning and delivery as well as budget management. Closing date for applications: Friday 21st March 2020 Day to Day Responsibilities (summary) Ensure the agreed campaign planning process is followed including completing campaign briefs and tactical plans. Execution of marketing campaigns, creating or overseeing the creation of campaign assets and utilising all relevant marketing channels including digital and print. Accurately track budget and spend Managing and liaising with external suppliers. Work closely with the marketing executives and offer marketing advice, guidance and support where appropriate. Maintain a good understanding and working knowledge of the IET products and services within your portfolio. Produce a detailed and results driven monthly report on time each month. Maintain the team activity tracker with key deliverables Support the Marketing Manager with annual budget planning, attending budget meetings where required Liaise with other departments within the IET as appropriate and external organisations to support promotion of IET products and services, seeking cross-marketing opportunities where applicable. Ensure all copyright issues are checked and adhered to Key Skills Educated to degree level or equivalent Experience in producing marketing plans/campaign briefs Experience in execution of marketing campaigns including digital and print channels - in particular email, social and pay per click campaigns Understanding of customer segmentation and target marketing principles and practices Thorough knowledge of evaluating marketing campaigns through a metrics-based approach Experience of managing marketing budgets Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing, including customers Ability to build successful relationships and manage stakeholders, internally and externally and at all levels of the organisation Highly IT literate Demonstratethe IET values of integrity, excellence and teamwork The IET is an equal opportunity employer.
