Overview
Job Title: Database Manager Hours: Fulltime (6 month contract) Salary: £30,000 pro rata Location: Guildford, Surrey We are working in partnership with a highly effective wildlife conservation charity funding key conservation projects across Africa and Asia seeking to appoint a Database Manager. This is a pivotal role for someone who can join the team to manage the supporter database (Raiser’s Edge) to ensure content and procedures going forward are up to date and fit to support the charity’s activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and will demonstrate: Experience of working in the charitable sector with excellent knowledge of GDPR, Marketing and Fundraising regulations. Experience of working with, developing and managing Raiser’s Edge, managing data sets, producing reports, including use of querying tools and data segmentation, and analysis. Good understanding of what constitutes excellent support stewardship and segmentation to lead to improved supporter journey with the ability to handle numerous projects and stakeholder demands simultaneously, working to tight deadlines. The ability to problem solve and identify areas for improvement. With proven ability to act on your initiative, work to clear deadlines and pay attention to detail, you will be highly organised, methodical with excellent time management skills.
