Overview

Reports to: Group Marketing Manager Shifts: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm THE ROLE: This role will form a key part of the marketing function with responsibilities including delivering, tracking and measuring digital marketing activity for the Group. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: You will be responsible for implementing and optimising The Groups Digital Marketing activities through a variety of channels including; email, social media, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and digital advertising. Development and implementation of strategies and tactics to increase digital brand exposure Ownership and management of the businesses website portfolio Ownership and delivery of social media, content creation, campaigns and analysis with an emphasis on engagement and user growth Regular reviews and analysis of company websites and social media in order to deliver useful insights to help improve effectiveness Development and implementation of both Search engine marketing (SEM) and pay-per-click (PPC) strategies Development and improvement of website organic rankings through the implementation of on-site Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies Creation of written content including blog posts, website copy, social media content Management of the company photo and video library, including gathering new material from around the network On-going analysis of competitor digital activity Produce monthly digital marketing reports Work alongside agencies aligned to supporting the delivery of campaigns and wider marketing activity Monitoring of industry trends both in logistics and also the specialist field of digital marketing KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of the software packages such as Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook / LinkedIn / Twitter Ads and WordPress Can handle multiple tasks and projects A sound business understanding, as well as being commercially and risk aware Ability to bring new innovative marketing approaches to life and constantly evolve best practice Strong communication skills with people at all levels Knowledge of website user experience and best practice Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Keyword Research WordPress Content Management System (CMS) knowledge Videography and Photography and associated editing techniques Ability to work remotely at sites around the wider network Ability to drive the wider perception and value of digital marketing within the business Good copywriting skills Strong attention to detail Willingness to travel Confident presentation skills Good at managing time and prioritising workload to meet deadlines Passion for marketing and technology Click APPLY NOW to kick-start your application
