Overview
The Organisation A great opportunity to join an ambitious FMCG business as a Supply Chain Manager, during a period of growth and transformation. You will play a pivotal role in the design and strategy across our clients end to end supply chain. The Role The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity. Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors and distributors Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy in agreement with Site Director, Factory Manager and other key stakeholders Support the roll out and implementation of a new ERP system Collaborate with Sales, Factory Operations, and other key stakeholders External customer management Determine key supply chain KPIs Suggest solutions for process improvements Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner Train and evaluate others Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing teams to determine best vendors and distributors Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and distributors The Candidate The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Manager opportunity will have; BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager within a FMCG organisation (Ideally Chilled, Ambient or Frozen) Exposure to end to end operations and production Proven experience in supply process design and strategy implementation Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.) Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills About Mackenzie Jones At Mackenzie Jones, we put specialist expertise to work.
