Stakeholders and External Communications Manager

Your new company Hays are currently working with a governmental department in London, looking to recruit a Stakeholders and External Communications Manager on a permanent basis with a base salary of £40,000. Your new role Managing a small team, you will be expected to develop and execute the company's stakeholder and External Communications strategies. You will be responsible for all external communications channels, including website, newsletters and media relations. Working closely with reams across the business to co-ordinate new stakeholder offerings to scheme participants. Additionally you will be required to work closely with press office and stakeholder management teams in other organisations. What you'll need to succeed Experience of developing and delivering communications strategies and managing stakeholders in multi-institutional landscapes; Experience of managing communications professionals; Experience of commissioning and managing work by external/outsourced providers; Computer literate with extensive experience of Microsoft Office and preferably some experience of InDesign and Drupal software (used to for our publications and website respectively); Experience of using of digital and social media tools to positively influence engagement; Able to tailor complex information into clear engaging content for different audiences; Maturity and flexibility to thrive under changing demands and competing priorities; Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the potential issues that may impact on the company; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally; Exceptional attention to detail.
