Press and Social Media Officer- Up to £30,000- London (Covering Haringey, Watford and Brent) Your new company Your new company is a global water and waste energy company with a passion for climate change. They are looking to expand their communications team, looking for a press and social media officer. Your new role In your new role as press and social media officer you will have the ability to engage and share the company values with their audience across all social media platforms. You will be creating and designing content as well as leading campaigns to positively effect behaviour, with hard hitting effects. You will be confident in building and maintain relationships with local, regional and trade media. What you'll need to succeed Reactive media and crisis control As well as having the knowledge of how to positively engage and increase social media presence You will need a creative mindset to develop your own ideas and campaigns as well as leading on other social media-based projects. Filming and editing skills (desirable) Embraces new challenges with a hands-on approach Managing social media accounts - Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram Excellent written and verbal communications skills Analysis and reporting knowledge Graphic design skills (desirable) Passionate about the environment What you'll get in return You will be paid a salary up to £30,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.
