Web Content Editor - Southampton - 3 Months My public sector client is looking to appoint an experienced web content editor to support their online workstream as part of large programme within Ordnance Survey. The ideal candidate has strong digital editing skills and is analytical. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Skills and Experience: You're a skilled digital editor. You have experience in content management systems (CMS) and a good working knowledge of HTML. You're also an impressive wordsmith and confident editor, as you'll play a key role in keeping the OS tone of voice consistent. You're analytical. You're well-versed in Google Analytics and other measurement tools and you'll use these to suggest new opportunities for content creation and audience engagement. You know the importance of great content. You have a good understanding of different digital assets including web articles, images, infographics and videos. You're also an SEO and CRO wizard. You're customer-focused: Love giving customers a smooth, engaging experience? So do we - whenever they come into contact with the OS brand. You'll have a good understanding of UX, A/B tests and user personas, and apply these when creating content. You're a collaborative team player: You love building positive cross-business relationships and are happy to share your digital knowledge and best practices with front-end developers, designers, and the wider communications and customer support teams. You're a plate-spinner: You're comfortable with a changing workload and prioritising jobs as they're assigned to you. You're as adept at forward planning are you are meeting tight deadlines to keep a range of stakeholders happy.
