Graphic Designer / Artworker - Signage

Our client is an award winning, market leader in the Signage / Graphics industry. They are a large Leeds based company with a varied blue chip customer base that encompasses sectors including retail, banking, automotive, licensed trade and more. Long established and led by a team that are at the forefront of the sector, this company provides for some of the biggest companies in the country. They are growing from strength to strength and are looking for a Designer / Artworker to come on board to work on a variety of new and ongoing projects. Graphic Designer Job Summary; You will work alongside other designers and across projects for entire client brands; from design and artworking on external and internal products for signage and print following corporate guidelines as well as some independent projects. They are looking for someone who can demonstrate a keen desire to develop their graphic design skills in a commercial environment. Creative Designer Core responsibilities; You will work with a cross-discipline team and produce graphics that are consistent with existing styles, standards and specifications, working from detailed designs to produce high quality visuals. As Designer/Artworker your main responsibilities will be: To work to tight deadlines on a range of client briefs To ensure brand guidelines are followed To be flexible with a can-do attitude Report any cost efficiencies that can be achieved. Creative Artworker Required Skills: As Designer / Artworker you will have the following Experience and Qualifications: You will have exceptional skills and be fully conversant with Adobe Creative Suite You will be able to come up with original concepts and also be able to design and follow the process through to finished artwork Able to work to tight deadlines and have the ability to multitask Attributes required: creative, adaptable and with a strong visual awareness. enthusiasm, communication skills and ability to work competently under pressure are essential; rapid learner - the successful applicant will receive on the job training; excellent attention to detail and an eye for consistency; methodical, logical and process driven approach; ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise you workload; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
