Overview

Handle are proud to be working with the leading International Festival of Creativity to recruit Awards Processors for the run up to the 2020 festival. This festival is the Oscars of the advertising, brand marketing and creative communications world and is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to gain invaluable experience within the creative, advertising and events industries. Each year, the festival receives over 40,000 entries from 90 countries around the globe that are then passed over to juries for the judging process to begin. They have a dedicated Awards team to oversee this process but need interim candidates from the start of April- June 2020 to support them. As an Awards Processor you will be responsible for quality control - checking entry submissions and preparing them for judging. The highest performing and most dedicated candidates will also be given the opportunity to attend the festival in Cannes, France to assist with the live judging. You will be expected to assist the juries and help facilitate the judging process. Key responsibilities will include: Working as part of a team to process awards entries Working with databases and bespoke judging software Liaising with our customers - ranging from agency support staff to Executive Creative Directors Reviewing creative entry material that has been submitted by global advertising, communication, creative agencies and checking that it has been entered correctly Handling creative entry material, queries and correspondence Ad-hoc duties on the run up to the festival We are looking for candidates with a customer focused approach, possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have past administrative and database experience as well as a proven ability to deliver accurate results with high attention to detail. A second language and knowledge of the creative/ advertising industries would be desirable but not essential. This is a 3 month temporary assignment starting April 13th - June 2020 (end of June if selected to work on site at the festival in Cannes). You must be available to attend interview in March 2020 and have no prior commitments/ holiday for the entirety of the assignment, as well as being available in June to attend the festival if selected.
