Overview

The Opportunity Macildowie Marketing are working with a large well-known retail/ecommerce business in Nottingham to hire a Digital Applications Manager. You will utilise your project management skills to deliver new and exciting changes to three apps and you will also be responsible for A/B testing across the group. This role will give you a chance to work with new and advanced technology, and to build your skillset within B2B and B2C marketing. This opportunity would suit candidates experienced with managing digital projects because you will have full ownership of upcoming projects, planning roadmaps, managing the budget, and making key decisions, to create something market-leading. You will not be required to do any coding or development because you will manage technology partners to deliver this for you. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter with good relationship building skills because you will be required to work with key internal and external stakeholders, including the Analysis team and the website team to conduct A/B testing, find ways to continually improve the website, and offer the best user experience. You will need to be innovative and full of ideas because it is important to keep track of the competitor market and making sure you are up to date with current and future trends. Good planning skills will also be important with excellent time management, organisation and previous experience working within a digital marketing environment. Although experience managing application projects would be advantageous, don't worry if you don't because this is something you can develop as long as you have managed other projects of a digital nature.
