Overview

The Online Content Generator will work closely with colleagues across the Team and in liaison with Marketing to produce up-to-date, relevant and accessible information to all The role-holder will work collaboratively to create, co-create and evaluate online, digital media, brand content and learning materials, ensuring that the Team is visible in 'cloud' environments to support the achievement of corporate objectives. Duties and Accountabilities Work with key colleagues to create, deliver and evaluate marketing, social media and information resources Manage all central communication channels including the email address, social media channels and campaign monitor. Keep all digital media and online systems/ portals updated and brand-focused. Supported key colleagues and working within brand guidelines, both commission and create fresh and engaging content to develop our social media presence. Seek out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. Propose new ideas and concepts for social media, digital and online content and create dynamic written, graphic, and video content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence. Analyse and report audience information and demographics, and the success of social media projects including impact linked to shares and comments. Any other duties that are within the scope and spirit of the job purpose. Person Specification: A degree in marketing, social media marketing, communications, English Language, graphic design, creative and visual arts or similar or equivalent professional qualifications and/or experience Proficiency in Adobe The ability to create suitable content for a range of student facing platforms Able to work with a basic content brief and develop it using creativity and innovation Passion for engaging and communicating online and via social media. Experience of managing media campaigns Technology skills including proficiency with spreadsheet, graphic, and word processing programmes. The ability to write engaging content suitable for a range of indicative audiences.
